Through the lens of semiotics and auteur theory, this video essay examines the way Wong Kar-wai mesmerized cinephiles worldwide by his visual feast of colors to portray Hong Kong's identity crisis.

The wife, battling the challenge of Alzheimer's, fiercely rejects her husband's care and concern, convinced that he's a cunning kidnapper in disguise. It received a Distinction (DI) score from the course coordinator.
